WEDNESDAY'S SHOPPING
We're supposed to get all-day rain today so I did my shopping a day early.

The cheap price on the cauliflower at Aldi was just a fluke. When I got home, and looked over my receipt, I saw that the cashier rang it up as a grapefruit. It should have been 79-cents. Instead of making the asparagus soup that's on my menu for this week, I'm going to use the cauliflower to make "Cauliflower Bisque" today. I've got some chicken bones simmering on the stove to use in the soup.

I actually paid a bit more at Walmart than listed above. They overcharged me by $1.88 on the light bulbs so I will get a refund next week.

  1. Do you use the stevia blend for baking or just to sweeten your drinks

    1. Only for sweetening drinks because there is no way to accurately measure it for recipes. Plus, it's expensive and not very concentrated. I like that I can sweeten a drink with just a tiny bit of it vs single drops of Sweetzfree which is super concentrated per drop.
